Mardy Gras is an exhilarating bloom, brightening up even the cloudiest of days. A small dahlia in fluorescent coral orange with yellow based petals, sometimes more yellow in color as the temperatures change, is a summer's favorite in my garden. A bright cheerful presence in flower arrangements from summer to fall.
